Terms of Service

1. Content Ownership

  • Your Recipes: You own the content you create. By uploading it, you grant MessHall a license to host and display it.
  • Imported Content: When you import a recipe from a URL, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the original creator's terms.
  • Stripe Connect: To receive payouts, you must set up a Stripe Connect account. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.

2. MessHall Pro Subscriptions

MessHall offers an optional "Pro" subscription that provides additional features:

  • Billing: If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, the purchase will be applied to your iTunes Account. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
  • Management: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
  • Cancellation: Subscriptions must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

3. Grocery Shopping & External Services

  • Fulfillment: MessHall provides tools to send your shopping lists to third-party grocery services (e.g., Walmart, Kroger). We do not fulfill these orders ourselves.
  • Commissions: MessHall may receive affiliate commissions from purchases made through these third-party grocery services. This does not increase the price you pay.
  • Liability: We are not responsible for pricing discrepancies, delivery issues, or the quality of goods purchased through external services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective Terms of Service.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not upload illegal, offensive, or copyrighted content without permission.
  • Do not harass other users in Enlisted Club sessions.

5. Limitation of Liability

MessHall is provided "as is." We are not responsible for any kitchen accidents, failed soufflés, or data loss.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the app means you accept the new terms.

7. Affiliate & Partner Disclosure

MessHall participates in affiliate marketing programs. We may earn commissions from items purchased via links to retail partners within the app.
